is there possible to restore a v2 tar.gz backup to a v1 machine ?
I suppose there is no problem for v1 -> v2

Hi
Not sure what you mean by V1, V2 but you always can import backup from older firmware to new firmware. The other way around it is not supported. Each HW version can be updated to latest FW version so no issue here.
