LM has support for mbus over RS232 or RS485. If you can find a wireless gateway for this then it should work.

Usually wireless M-Bus is a closed system, and you can connect only with manufacturer supplied tools. Wireless M-Bus in reality is M-Bus only in the name, every manufacturer has different approach incompatible with others.
If you need integration, avoid wireless meters like a plague.

You could try to sniff the meter with SDR, but then it's probably encrypted and unusable without the key. Keep in mind that the meter sends data maybe every 15-30 minutes or even less in order to save battery (you really don't need that resolution for water meters, once per month is enough for billing).
