Hospitality integration - PassivPluss - 26.01.2019

Hi all
Is it possible to integrate hospitality system with fias or htng protocol?
Currently we are in a project where they use Protel booking engine.
So when the room is booked instantly or schedulared it can be heated in advance via knx actuators?

Hi,

We have a Fidelio driver within EcoStruxure Building Operation if you need one.

Erwin

Thx Erwin for the answer. Iam not familiar with Ecostructure. How how does that work, is it a product out of the box that can be used or does it need a lot of programming by spesialists/ Schneider or ourself ?
What is a Fidelio driver?

Hi,

Fidelio is a PMS and FIAS stands for Fidelio Interface Application Specification.

Our solution is a software solution build out of a Enterprise Server and a SmartConnector that needs to be deployed on a server. Both software suites and the Fidelio SmartConnector processor require a 1 time license purchase.

When this is deployed we can add points in the system that can communicate by the SmartConnector to Fidelio to exchange data. This is between Enterprise Server and PMS.

To communicate with KNX we can create a BACnet interface in the Enterprise Server and add the KNX controller (W4K/SL/LM) to the system and make the bindings between the Fidelio PMS objects and KNX.

The configuration of the EcoStruxture system must be done by a EcoXpert. The workload is not a lot (a couple of hours depending on number of points)

This solution is a tested and validated architecture that runs at lot’s of hotels.

BR,

Erwin

Hi
It is possible to use Fidelio approved interfaces and talk to them via BacNET, ModBus or Serial protocol from LogicMachine, e.g. PGF-4000 gateway from Prolon Control Systems.

Nothing against struxtureWare but this might be simpler Smile

Hi Daniel,

Good to hear you still have a ‘green’ heart (:

Any solution that works for the customer is fine by me and your right it is a heavy solution when you don’t use the BMS part but it is a good solution (:

Erwin

Hi, Is it possible to integrate Bacnet via LM or Spacelynk?

For instance via https://www.intesisbox.com/en/fidelio-ip-bacnet-server-ibox-bac-fid/gateway/

to get the room status

RE: Hospitality integration - admin - 30.01.2019

Yes, but then you will have to use BACnet in client mode which requires additional scripting and is slower than BACnet server.
