Network Utilities - Tokatubs - 27.05.2020

I am having a problem on multicast trafffic. But not sure where the problem is.
Tried the Network Utilities and Ping :

PING 172.16.69.114 (172.16.69.114): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 172.16.69.114: seq=0 ttl=128 time=51.255 ms
64 bytes from 172.16.69.114: seq=1 ttl=128 time=1.110 ms
64 bytes from 172.16.69.114: seq=2 ttl=128 time=1.102 ms
64 bytes from 172.16.69.114: seq=3 ttl=128 time=1.123 ms

--- 172.16.69.114 ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 1.102/13.647/51.255 ms

When i try using the Traceroute it starts but never finishes. What could be the reason for that, lack of communication. ?

What is the problem exactly? Traceroute uses unicast, it cannot be used to test multicast.

I have a ip router with 172.16.69.114 and the Lm is connected on 172.16.70.41. Different segment.
Group addresses are visulized in Mosaic. Read is discovered in object viewer but when i try write nothing happens and telegram dont show in the Ets monitor using the 114 ip router.

So i am trying to find out where the write telegram is stopped since the read telegram seems to pass through.
Had the TTL setting set to stock. But when i set it to a larger number the read started. So just trying everything to find out why i am not able to get working..

You can try tunnel connection but only to one router/gateway.

Hi Daniel,
I have the same problem on my client plant. Two lines one with an IP router and another with logic as Ip router. All the status telegram pass one each other. The write telegram  occasionally stops (in the logic there is no filter table). After some time it restart.
The IP router as the same multicast address.
A little add information. The plant works right for 3-4 months and the appeared the issue.
Next days we can check with wireshark what there is in the package.
Any suggest?
BR Cristian

It seems like different case here. Check if LM is not overloaded during this time.

No, but we the client I find a strange situation. The ip router on the other line takes 4 additional address. (1.2.4, 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3). The DALI gateway that gives me problems has physical address 1.2.2. do you think it could be a problem? And if it is way occasionally?
Thanks and best regards Cristian

It is very hard to say form the info provided. Is this isolated network or a customer network with other things on it?

Customer network

RE: Network Utilities - Daniel - 13.01.2023

Set TOS priority level higher it may help.

Now it is at 1 and ttl 3

RE: Network Utilities - Daniel - 13.01.2023

TTL is only needed if you go over routers.
