TP REPEAT - davidchispas - 17.02.2021 Hi, I'm looking at KNX statistics and I see abnormal load on repeating TP. Is this important to keep in mind? This statistic comes from a room control connected to the KNX bus, when the project is finished it will open more than 30 units and I am worried that it will saturate. RE: TP REPEAT - Daniel - 17.02.2021 Enable 'ACK all group telegrams' and see if it helps. RE: TP REPEAT - davidchispas - 17.02.2021 (17.02.2021, 10:27)Daniel. Wrote: Enable 'ACK all group telegrams' and see if it helps. Thanks Daniel, that has worked. Now the repetition of TP is 0. Is it advisable to enable ACK? RE: TP REPEAT - Daniel - 17.02.2021 This means you have a device on the bus which does not acknowledge the telegrams. When telegram is sent and no acknowledge is sent then it is repeated. You can try to find which device it is or leave it as now and LM will do the job. RE: TP REPEAT - robert.ranga - 20.03.2025 Hey, i've seen that i have an weird situation on my TP communication, lots of repetition (it seems to be inverse proportional) I already tried: 1. to check ACK all group telegrams 2. connect only the LM5LP2 server and a KNX PW, and even then the repetition appears. 80% repetition, 0% TP. 3. i've tried to deactivate all scripts, schedulers, that i have. I'm missing something? RE: TP REPEAT - Daniel - 20.03.2025 Check bus monitor and find which telegrams are repeated, then try to find who is sending it and who is not acknowledging it. LM will not ack its own telegrams. |
