Hi users,
What's the maximum number of group objects?
A client must integrate 4000 group objects.... Do you think that it could be done?

There is no limit on object creation, you can add the full scope if you like.
But there is a limit in concurrent communication, as with any KNX system you have a limit on the TP, but IP is depending on the CPU load by other stuff you are using, So you can have 10.000 objects that are almost not changing and all works well but you can also have 100 objects changes every 0.1 seconds and your cpu goes through the roof..
So no hard limit, but if you have 4000 objects you really need to think on traffic, are those temperatures and motion telegrams then changes are you have to much traffic for 1 controllers..
