IP camera stream - Domoticatorino - 07.12.2016 Hi, I am testing the streaming of a web cam. Link is the following: http://<IP_Address>:8081/video4.mjpg Everything works fine using VLC or chrome browser but in HL does not work. Any suggestion? Furthermore I can use the following link: http://<IP_Address>:8081/imagep/picture.jpg This works but this is only an image. In this case can I refresh it every x second? Where can I set it? Thanks. RE: IP camera stream - admin - 07.12.2016 Does the camera require username/password? If so, it won't work unless Chrome is run with a specific command-line argument, some info here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=305215 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=308999 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=513590 RE: IP camera stream - Domoticatorino - 07.12.2016 Thank you Admin, but it is not clear. Streaming video works with Chrome. It does not work in homelynk. Is it the problem related to chrome-homelynk? How can I sort it out? Trying to using an alternative browser or? Thanks. RE: IP camera stream - admin - 07.12.2016 Chrome will only allow images with auth (http://user:pass@camera/stream.jpeg) to be viewed directly, but it will block such images if they are inserted into a page like it is in the visualization. You can try Firefox instead. RE: IP camera stream - Domoticatorino - 07.12.2016 Dear Admin, ok! Sorry I did not understand what you meant. It works perfectly. Thanks. |
