Migrating to new SD Card - tigi - 11.02.2024 Hi, I'm thinking to replace the old SD card (>5y) in the LM for a new one, mostly out of precaution to prevent an uncontrolled crash and defect occuring in the old SD card. Is this common sense or can the factory SD card last much longer considering it's usage is in a residential house. I assume the best SD card to use is an industrial grade such as those below, is this correct? Western Digital: https://www.westerndigital.com/nl-nl/products/memory-cards/industrial-microsd?sku=SDSDQAF3-008G-I Kingston: https://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/sd-cards/2436492 How do I migrate to a new SD card? Can I take an image of the old one and write it to the new one or is there a better way? Thanks in advance. Tigi RE: Migrating to new SD Card - admin - 12.02.2024 We are currently using WD SDSDQED-008G-XI. It's similar to SDSDQAF3-008G-I but with higher endurance rating. You can make a complete image and transfer it to the new card. The newer card must be the same size or larger. Another approach is backup + recovery firmware but it's more time consuming.
