LM5 as KNX/IP Router - vmic - 04.03.2025

Hi to everyone,
I am facing a problem when I am trying to program KNX Devices with ETS and using the LM5 as a KNX/IP Router along with ZeroTier connection. In this project I have 3 lines 1.1.xxx, 1.2.xxx, 1.3.xxx , so I have 2 line couplers working as repeaters at lines 2 and 3. The LM5 is connected on Line 3 and I can only program the devices of line 3 and not the KNX devices connected on lines 1 or 2. Why is this happening? Should I connect it on Line 1 or not? I have change the address inside the LM5 to test it to 1.2.255 or 1.1.255 or 15.15.255 to be able to program each line seperately,  but nothing worked for me. Any ideas please?

Thank you in advance!

Make sure you have the latest firmware and "Pass ind. telegrams via IP Routing" is enabled in System config > Network > KNX connection.
LM KNX address must be in the same range as the local TP network.

Hi! and thank you for your reply.
As for the Firmaware we have the 20240426 , is this OK or not?
And the parameter you told me to have as enabled is already enabled.
Also I changed physical address to 1.2.255 for programming the KNX of Line 2 but it didn't worked. Also I changed the physical address to 1.1.25 for programming the KNX devices of Line 1 the same issue.

My previous comment refers to using LM with IP routers but you are using line couplers so it's a different case.
You need to check how filtering is configured on your line couplers. Most likely physical communication is blocked.

Can you draw your architecture? I think your problem is in it or in the line couplers.

I have the 2 Line Couplers as Repeaters so I don't think that this causes the problem

If you use repeaters then you should have only one line 1.1 not 1.1, 1,2 and 1.3

Yes so maybe this is the problem but I tried to change it to Line couplers and I had the same issue. And also I set the telegrams route and not filtered to avoid this issue but it didn't worked

If you want to use line couplers you need a backbone line.
