Hi,
Is it normal that after doing a shutdown a LM restarts itself after a while?

Yes, it's a known feature
This gives some time to disconnect the power supply. Otherwise the system starts again in case shutdown was performed by accident (possibly instead of reboot).

Ok is it new in this firmware?

I think it was always like this. Maybe old hardware behaved differently.
