TCP 443 and 8883, and remember to set gateway and DNS, I don't know what error code 14 is-

Make sure that LM has valid gateway and DNS settings in System config > Network > Interfaces > eth0.
See if you can ping remote.logicmachine.net from System config > Status > Network utilities.
