Alexa Skill Sync - didac - 12.12.2025
Good morning,
I created a new skill in Alexa, clicked sync, and it synced without error (the current time is displayed). The problem is that the new skill doesn't appear in the Alexa app. Is there any way to force the sync in the Alexa app? What do I need to do to make it appear?

We've done that and it's not showing up. We've also tried "Alexa, discover new devices" and it's not finding the new skill. What else can I try?

Works for me, how do you know it is not discovered?

I added a new device with its skills (in LM). I sent the "Discover" command, but the new device isn't showing up in Alexa's device list.

Check logs in LM cloud app.

I give Alexa the command "Discover new devices," and it seems to be thinking for a long time, but it's like it freezes and doesn't find any new devices. It can be thinking for up to 5 minutes. Is this normal?

It take a while but it does it much faster for me, 2min or so. What type of device are you trying to add?

I'm trying to add a dimmable light with brightness and power control. I have others just like it and they work.

Just tried device with brightness and power stare, discovered as normal. Not sure what to suggest. Did you assign all objects?

Solved!
It seems it was an Alexa problem. I logged out and back in with my phone, and then it appeared.
I don't understand anything. A reset always fixes everything.
