Resizable / Scalable DIM Object Issue in New Visu - savaskorkmaz - 03.01.2026 Hi, I would like to report an issue we are experiencing with scalable DIM objects in the new Visu graphics editor. In the screenshot I attached:
However, when we try to resize the DIM object, the icon remains as a fixed square in the center. The surrounding frame is stretched, but the icon itself does not scale or extend horizontally, so we cannot match the desired rectangular shape. This behavior prevents us from adapting DIM icons to real-world luminaire proportions. In many SCADA and building automation projects, our clients request icons that visually correspond to the actual physical length of lighting fixtures. Our typical workflow is:
In the new Visu editor, scaling works only for switch objects — but not for DIM objects. If this restriction was added intentionally (for UI or safety reasons), we kindly request an optional parameter such as: Quote:“Allow scalable DIM icon”So that system integrators who need this feature can enable it when required. Scalable DIM objects are important for us in professional lighting visualizations, especially in large-scale architectural and SCADA projects. Thank you for your support. RE: Resizable / Scalable DIM Object Issue in New Visu - savaskorkmaz - 05.01.2026 Hi, I attached widget settings. If we do only icon there is no problem but we use dim objects with always with icon and value together. RE: Resizable / Scalable DIM Object Issue in New Visu - admin - 05.01.2026 This will be fixed in the next version. |
