KNX Secure with LM/SL - AlexLV - 28.01.2026
Hi,
at site customer upgraded SL to latest FW 3.0, and on same KNX/DALI gateways newly added to project KNX Secure was switched ON. Due to this all new added devices and visu not working for them.
We just switched off KNX Secure communication (of course not a good idea) and all started to work.
So question - how correctly we need configure devices with KNX secure and how/where passwords should be entered into LM/SL?? If we have different KNX secure passwords in KNX devices?
Do we need to enter KNX project password in KNX connection page - backbone key (encryption)? But devices passwords?
So some explanation step by step is needed for dummies is needed to increase project's security (: May be should be added to solution library. Sorry I did not found info).
