Sending data between several logic machines 5 - ALEJANDRO - 12.03.2026 Good morning, I have a problem I don't know how to solve. I have a building with a BMS consisting of four logic machines. One is dedicated to controlling signals from a garage (pumps, alarms, etc.). The other three logic machines perform the following functions: The building has three entrances and a garage. We have three logic machines installed in each entrance. Each of these three logic machines receives signals via KNX protocol from sensors (RH%, temperature, and CO2) and touch displays located in each of the 27 apartments in each entrance. Simultaneously, we receive data via Modbus RTU protocol from the apartment's electricity meters and hot water meters. My problem is the following, and it's related to the KNX component. I created an ETS6 file with the group addresses of the sensors and displays for the homes. When I finished, I made three copies called portal 1, 2, and 3. The problem is that the group addresses are the same in ETS6, and this is reflected in each logic machine for each portal. If I've created SCADA screens and, for example, loaded them into logic machine portal 1, how do I access the KNX data from portals 2 and 3 if they have the same group addresses as portal 1? Is there a solution to this problem? I should mention that all the logic machines are connected to the same point, so I can view them simultaneously with a single UTP cable. |
