Automatic fan for coocktop - Bobby - 19.04.2017 Hi! I want to make the fan for the coocktop to start automatic when the coocktop starts. one way is to measure current for the coocktop (25A Fuse). since most of the relays with metering is for 16A and 20A this is not an option. is it possible to use a non invasive clamp (from eBay or something) and connect to analog input, when current is detected, it will activate the fan, and when current stops, the fan will stop a minute after or so. for controlling the ceiling fan, there is 2 options. 1. connect to wires on the motor, and control it with a relay. (not the best option) 2. connect to it wirelessly, this fan has a wireless remote on 434 Mhz. is it possible to link a TX up to reactor v3?? i hope you understand what im trying to say. please ask if anything is unclear. Bobby. RE: Automatic fan for coocktop - admin - 20.04.2017 The problem is that most clamp current sensors have a very low output voltage - around 10-20mV per A. Since the analog input is tunes to 0-30V range it might not be able to detect voltage when current consumption is low. Relay sounds like the only option for motor control. |
