If you are using image proxy then there's a hard limit of 1MB per snapshot. Open the snapshot in your browser, download the file and check the size. If it's over 1MB then you need to lower the resolution or snapshot quality.

Daniel,

now refresh rate is 10 sec. Not helped.

For Hikvision I use this string:

http://IP/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/102/p...Height=262

I will check maybe is possible reduce quality a bit
Reply
Check the videoResolutionHeight parameter. It should be much larger than 262, something like 540 or 720 depending on camera sensor aspect ratio.

When I change Height it does not help.

And size of the snapshot image is 1025Kb, I bit bigger than now allowed..

Then most probably videoResolutionWidth does not work either. What is the real resolution of the downloaded image? Try using channel 101 instead of 102 in the snapshot URL.
Reply
Resolution of the snapshot is 5120x1440.

I think I should change camera settings, may be only 1st stream is on and used.. Will check it when will be at site.

Not sure which thread is the correct one for this, sorry if I missed the right one.

I finally put the new Trends widget to test, and it was much better than expected! Thank you!

But I have two wishes...

1: Able to enter unit for the y-axis. For instance, when it's temperature, it would look much better if the labels also had °C. I'm sure there are other use cases as well.

2: Be able to select resolution - like I have a 12 hour data period - and I get grid line and y-axis label for every two hours for that particular sized trend. The label is ok as is, but I would like to have grid line for every hour - maybe even every 30 minutes some times. So I would love to have a separate value for number of grid lines at least on the x-axis... Or actually, when I try different sizes now, I think it would have been nice to be able to choose number of grid lines and labels seperately and independently for both axes. So if I have 10 grid lines and 5 labels, every second grid line will have a label.

Other than that, it's perfect

1. Can be done

2. This is more complicated because the chart library doesn't have a direct ability to set the grid size. Only a minimum spacing between each grid line can be set. This can be added as an option later. The number of labels can be made configurable as ratio to grid lines like 1:1, 1:2 etc.

Just tested the new version. All the bugs I've encountered are fixed, thank you! And the Trend widget is perfect now! <3

Except for one thing... that might (hopefully?) be a new bug. When using the "X axis grid to label ratio" I get the date as well on every label. Not just the first label of a day. Not a huge problem, but it is much tidier when it's only on the first label of the day (which it still is when "X axis grid to label ratio" is 1).

Other than that, perfect! Just what I wanted and needed! Smile Thank you!

@stianj, labels can be fixed but only partially. If a first label of a day must be skipped then the next label will only display the time without the date.

Is there any plan to implement, in the new visualization, an application or feature that allows a user to create new users but with limited permissions?
The idea is that a restricted user could generate additional users whose permissions cannot exceed their own — meaning they can only grant access to the applications and visualization pages they themselves are allowed to use.

Is this functionality planned, or is there any official alternative to delegate limited user-management capabilities?

In the old Mosaic I easily assembled custom widgets, but in the new Visu Admin I don’t understand how to do it! Please tell me.

Ho,
In the left menu there's "custom widget" tab. Inside there you can create your personal widgets.
Then you can add on your project press widgets -> custom widget (the first) on the top right.

I sometimes miss a kind of "Object list/selector".

Like when you have transparent icons, or overlapping icons, it's both hard to know what widgets I actually have in a plan, and even harder to select the right one without first moving one (or more) widgets out of the way to be able to select it.

A little toggleable window below the widget sidepanel for intance where you have a list of all objects, and when you click one of those objects it is selected, so you can use the controls at the bottom of the editor (edit, copy, duplicate etc.)

That would be really helpful!

I wanted to propose an improvement related to the new Visu.

I find the new behavior that allows switching between tile and plan modes based on resolution very interesting. Automatic switching based on screen size works well in theory, but in practice, it introduces some limitations.

Currently, to avoid errors, it forces you to always define both views, even in projects where you only want to use one. Furthermore, there are real-world cases where the "resolution = view type" criterion isn't ideal. For example:

On large screens, it might be better to continue using tile mode.

On small screens (mobile devices), plan mode might be preferable.

Therefore, I think it would be very useful to be able to manually force the view mode (tile or plan) from the project settings or Visu, regardless of the resolution, leaving automatic mode as an additional option.

In addition, it would be very useful to be able to force the mode via a specific URL for each format, for example, by explicitly allowing access to tile or plan mode. This would facilitate use on dedicated screens, kiosks, wall panels or mobile devices, without depending on automatic resolution criteria or maintaining two complete designs.

Is it possible to change the time axis in Visu trend? That was possible in Mosaic

possibility to import the "old" scada-vis pages into visu including all the data and links towards the datapoints
