Bar chart for daily electricity price

I would like to create a bar chart, which shows the hourly electricity price. I use a script to query the electricity price every day and  have one object per hour; e.g. 34/1/0 for the electricity price at midnight.
However, the diagramm widget only seems to be able to display existing trends?
Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using the touch visu - so this doesn't help?
