Issues with widgets
#1
Hi, I have a few issues with the new visualization:
  1. When you change an option inside a "Select Value" popup widget, the popup closes automatically.
  2. When creating a frame in the plan view to display schedules, the default size is very small. If you scale it, it doesn’t scale properly and you have to adjust it manually for the screen. However, the screen size changes depending on the device (tablet, mobile, computer), but the widget size does not adapt. In tile view, it is also not possible to change the popup size.
  3. Is there any way to lock part of a custom widget so it cannot be seen or modified?
Do you know any solutions?
Thank you in advance for your help.

1. This is by design, once you selected your option window will close to avoid too many clicks.
2. Not sure I understand this correctly, you can change the frame size as you want on plan.
3. Not possible.

  1. I understand that the popup closes by design after selecting an option. However, in some cases it would be useful if it stayed open, for example when you need to change several values quickly inside the same popup.
  2. About the frame in the plan view: yes, the frame size can be changed. The issue is that when I scale it to make it larger, it does not adapt automatically to different screen sizes (tablet, mobile, computer). So if I make it fit on a computer screen, when I open it on a tablet it becomes too large to be displayed correctly.

1. The case you define is very rare in our opining and we are not planing to change this. You can make custom widget with send fixed values.
2. Visu cannot control what is inside the frame, it can only scale the frame itself. As for Scheduler we are planing to make dedicated widget for it and this will scale as the rest of the visu.

I think that case 1 is not rare...
For example, if the default thermostat control does not fit a specific project and a custom one must be created, if you want to put a comfort/standby/night mode change control with a drop-down menu, when changing mode the entire widget closes... and it doesn't look good at all...
Doing it by sending fixed values means that much more space is needed...
