Trend logging question

Hi!

I have trend log on diffrent values on a project.

I have noticed that daily an weekly trend is accurate, but month and year is diffrent.

Does month and year show average value?

I am logging Kwh on and electric meter, on weekly i can se that the value is between 30 to 170 every day. 
But on month its between 20 and 40.

Trendlog setup:
absolute value
last value
5 minutes
1 decimal
180 days
2 years

Use counter mode instead of absolute value. Absolute is for things like temperature and humidity.
