Xiaomi Smarthome devices direct integration

Hello,

may be somebody did/tried direct integration of Xiaomi Smart devices directly? I mean vacuum cleaners, humidifiers etc, not just sensors..

Yes at forum i found some variants of integration temperature/humidity sensors using Bluetooth or some Wi-Fi gateways..

if this is to complicated to do (we need receive token for device; I found different libraries based C# or php and they should be ported to LUA, etc. for me unreal) might be better to use other bridges like HA (Home Assistant)?

I plan start up 2 installations nearest time and use LM for them, but customers asking about possible integrations with Xiaomi..

Any ideas will be useful for me.

The sensors are ZigBee so it should be possible to connect them to LM via our ZigBee USB adapter. But knowing how Xiaomi devices work there will certainly be something non-standard so 100% compatibility out of the box is not guaranteed.

As for other smart devices they usually have different custom protocols so each has to integrated separately. The easiest solution is to use an external bridge if it's already confirmed to be working.
