Hi LM team,
Great work on the new visu! It looks much more modern and flexible.
I have noticed a possible issue with the thermostat widget, and I would also like to suggest a few improvements.
Issue: disabled operation modes are still visible
In the widget settings, only Comfort, Stand-by, and Economy are enabled under “Operation modes”. Auto and Building protection are not selected.
However, the widget still displays all operation modes, including the disabled ones.
Suggestions / feature requests
Add fan speed control to the thermostat widget.
Add fan mode selection, for example Auto / Manual.
Add an output indication for heating/cooling operation, preferably as a percentage value, for example 0–100%.
It would also be useful if the slider or output indicator could change color depending on the active mode, for example one color for cooling and another for heating.
Add an error/alert indication icon. This would be very useful in HVAC installations, especially when the heating/cooling output is disabled or reduced due to an open window, or when there is a system error.
Most of the above features are almost standard in many KNX room thermostats, so having them available in the widget would make it much more complete and practical for real HVAC installations, especially where fan coil - proportional heating/cooling control is used.
I agree with every point gtsamis has! Many of us have fan coils for cooling and underfloor heating - so the same room temperature controller for both. While the air conditioner widget works, it's awkward and misleading with the duplicate temperature-control. Would much prefer to have it in one. Also output indication and colour depending on mode would be great! I have actually made my own custom widget with all these features, but would really prefer a stock option!

I have this situation too but as every system is different i let a event script devide the settings datapoints from cooling to heating etc to the right output datapoint. I don't really see the need for another widget.
Besides that this is not really a bug but a feature request.

Ok, but it's very awkward, and not very universal - and does not help in expanding features of the existing widget at all. And second, it was a white lie about having everything in one widget - the fan control is a separate one for now (on/off, auto/manual and level 0/1/2/3), and I don't want to show it (yet) because I have yet to find suitable icons... But the mock-up made by gtsamis shows where most of this could be placed very nicely!
First, plan view:
Black temperature is current temp, red one is setpoint. The color shows that the mode of the room temperature controller is heating. The spinner has a transparent icon that covers both of these temperatures, so wherever you click on the temperatures, the spinner opens.
Next is the operational mode icon. Click it, and it looks like this:
Next icon is a graph that shows when (and how much) heating/cooling has been applied:
Last icon shows if active heating or cooling is happening, and the valve value. When cooling a blue snowflake is shown.
Have also made a compressed tile-version with same info except the graph:

Yes, but gtsamis also had a valid bug in his post (that the modes are shown even when disabled)...

My thermostat is not a mock-up. It is an actual working custom widget, including a thermostat, a fan mode switch, a heating/cooling indicator, a value selector for fan speed, a hidden switch for the window/alarm icon, and CSS for changing the spinner color.
I understand that for some users this may seem overloaded, and of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My suggestions are based on my own experience, with the goal of making the stock thermostat widget more versatile and easier to use for people who do not want to spend too much time creating custom widgets.
Also, sorry for partly misusing the bug thread for feature requests. I realize there is a separate feature request section, and my intention was not to mix things up.
Regarding the bug itself, I am not sure it has been addressed yet. The issue I reported was that disabled operation modes are still shown in the thermostat widget, even when they are not selected in the widget settings.
I have attached the thermostat export for anyone who is interested.
