Starting from ~SEP 2018 all LogicMachine devices will ship with even more powerful CPU/RAM – 900MHz and 256MB. Up to now POWER version used 528MHz and 128MB. Please note that there is no price change planned for this.
New modules increase the productivity up to 2x compared to current POWER version. More detailed CPU comparison tests will follow later on.
All new LMs will have hybrid storage by using built-in 32MB NOR flash for main databases and trends. Static data like images, icons, fonts will be kept on microSD. This approach allows to use microSD card mostly in read-only mode to further prolong its lifetime.
For older devices without hybrid storage, when replacing microSD, we recommend using Advantech Ultra MLC cards which can handle 20K rewrite cycles (https://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Adva...2ffQ%3d%3d)
