Hi there Smile ,

How can I make a poll (or read) canx-dali devices?

I use LM5 Lite with CANx-DALI gateway to control DALI network. 

I've configured my CANx-DALI gateway in "CANx" app, and mapped dali-slaves with group addresses in "CANx DALI" app (as described in "CANx DALI gateway manual" ).
Now mapped group addresses are available in Logic Machine object list.
And I can set new values for my objects (and it really works) but i can't see their real states  Undecided  (for example, if I control the light by physical device the value of the corresponding object in object list does not update).

Does anyone know how can I make a poll (or read) canx-dali objects?

Hi
You have to select an individual ballast from a group and use it for status of the group.  I'm just uploading new video to YT which will explain everything.

I noticed that my CANx and CANx-DALI apps look slightly different. They needed to be updated.
But after update, when i start Line scan --> it don't find my gateway Sad
Maybe I need to update the gateway firmware?
What shall I do to detect the gateway?

Make sure you also update CANx app.  A reboot won't hurt Wink
The firmware to DALI gateway was also recently updated.

CANx DAli gateway (not LORA)

PS. When I try to detect the gateway via device scan I get an error: Failed to communicate with the device. Make sure that it is powered on and CAN bus is connected
