Monitoring the DALI bus

Is there any way for the DALI gateway to monitor the DALI bus and for example report a power failure or other communication problems?

canX dali has option to monitor DALI power supply short circuit status

You can set up a script to periodically query ballast status. Then check the return value to see whether there was a valid reply or an error.
