Object names

I see that latest update can take knxproj directly. Great.

But i wonder about one thing. Whats the best way to update Object names after a while. 
Lets says you import the ets file, and then later you make changes to names already imported.
Is there some way to overwrite the Object names, or do they need to be deleted first.
