Bacnet client on LM
#1
Hi,

just first try to use LM as Bacnet client. Totally new for me.

I have Rekuperators FLEXIT Nordic S4 in my network with Bacnet IP support.

Please explain me how I can attach to KNX groups this device points for control. Do I need install BacNet library? I use latest fw for now (20240426).

I don't have any info about this device and it's BacNet possibilities, can I scan/find BacNet points? Read at forum that not all types of points are supported..

So please help a little with step/by step info to start my integration.

BR,

Alex

You can try using Bacnet client app and it might work if not too many points are used.
Otherwise you can install bacnet client package and do it via script

Do not use both at the same time.

Thank you Daniel!

I decided to start with client app, installed it. After scan I found my device. Than I start device reading. Takes time a little, but in result I found 2384 different parameters with different types... Is it too much for app? What does mean priorities in device? Can I change value of point or it depends device? And I think better mostly to use virtual groups not to create big KNX load..

What you can advise?
