2 LMs at the same network
#1
Hi!
I am facing an issue regarding an installation I just finished, We have 2 seperate KNX projects (Ground Floor / 1st Floor ) in which we have 2 seperate KNX power supplies and also we have 2 seperate LM5 servers. The problem is that these 2 houses shares the same network (1 network provider for both houses) .Here starts the conflict cause in ETS we have almost the same Group addresses and we have telegrams that goes to the one house to another through the LM5 devices. What can be a solution except changing the Group addresses inside ETS for one of the 2 projects ? Maybe creating a VLAN for one of the 2 houses will be a solution or not?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Disable IP routing or change multicast address in LM KNX settings.

System config - Network - KNX connection

This doesnt affect something?

No, IP routing is used for KNX/IP communication which you don't need. Disabling IP routing still allows ETS programming via IP tunnel.
