Hello,
In a hotel project, we have a central Logic Machines communicate via KNX IP Routers which are located in each room.
We do not experience any problems when we connect the KNX IP Router and Logic Machine to a dumb switch. However, when we connect the same devices to the hotel's network switches, KNX information from the rooms reaches the Logic Machine, but the information does not go to the rooms from the Logic Machine.
We met with the hotel's IT specialist and turned on the multicast feature of the switches. However, the problem was not resolved. There is still one-way communication.
The hotel has HP J9850A - HP 5406R ZL2 Switch Chassis. What settings should be made in these switches so that KNX Multicast information works bidirectionally? I would be very happy if anyone has any knowledge or experience on this subject and could share it.
Thanks
