You will need at last 1GB card but not bigger than 32. An industrial or SLC is recommended. In latest range we are using WesternDigiral pSLC cards and they work very well.
After powering down device you can lift the top cover with a use of screwdriver and you will see the card. Slide the holder to take it out. Fallow this instructions to replace the card.

You can try making backup of your card via this tool and restore on your new card. In this case the new card cannot be smaller then the old one.

I have Project-LogicMachine-2024.10.29-16.29.tar.gz and sysconf-LogicMachine-2024.10.29-16.51.tar.gz as backup. Would those be sufficient?

The LM5 hardware is not easily accessible... I suppose I have to remove the device to be able to open the top cover?

Do you have a part number for the Western Digital pSLC card? I found a reference to SDSDQED-008G-XI, but that doesn't seem easy to find... Can you confirm it is a microSD card? I will first order a new one before removing/powering down the device. The easiest card to acquire seems Kingston microSDHC pSLC 8Gb or 16Gb...
