Apply filter to tunneling: by default IP -> Local filter is only applied to IP Routing but not IP tunneling, meaning that all IP tunneling telegrams are allowed. In most installations this option should be left disabled.

Filter local update telegrams: by default any telegrams sent by LM itself are sent to IP unfiltered. If this option is enabled then Local > IP filtering rules are applied to such telegrams.
