My thermostat is not a mock-up. It is an actual working custom widget, including a thermostat, a fan mode switch, a heating/cooling indicator, a value selector for fan speed, a hidden switch for the window/alarm icon, and CSS for changing the spinner color.
I understand that for some users this may seem overloaded, and of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My suggestions are based on my own experience, with the goal of making the stock thermostat widget more versatile and easier to use for people who do not want to spend too much time creating custom widgets.
Also, sorry for partly misusing the bug thread for feature requests. I realize there is a separate feature request section, and my intention was not to mix things up.
Regarding the bug itself, I am not sure it has been addressed yet. The issue I reported was that disabled operation modes are still shown in the thermostat widget, even when they are not selected in the widget settings.
I have attached the thermostat export for anyone who is interested.
