Wireguard and routing counter
#1
Recently, I set up a WireGuard server on a VPS and started connecting all my KNX Line Masters (LMs) to it. Initially, I was concerned about multicast traffic causing issues, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Instead, it looks like the LMs are bouncing back telegrams with their routing counter decremented by one or two.
I have attached a screenshot showing these repeated telegrams. Please note that there are no physical IP routers, line couplers, or any other devices on the network that should be decrementing the routing counter. At first, I thought the electrician had accidentally created a physical KNX loop, but this issue is now appearing across all LMs linked to the WireGuard server.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is this a known bug, or did I misconfigure something in my WireGuard/routing setup? How can I fix this?
