HomeKit thermostat – hide AUTO and COOL modes (heating only)
#4
Hello everyone,

I am trying to configure some KNX thermostats that operate using two separate boolean group objects: one for ON/OFF and another for Heating/Cooling.
I believe they might not be directly compatible with the mandatory 8-bit 'Off/Heat/Cool' object requested by the HomeKit app.
Could anyone kindly let me know if there is a setting or a workaround within the HomeKit app to make them compatible?
Or would it be better to look into writing a custom LUA script for this?
If someone has already faced this issue and would be so kind as to share some advice, I would be truly grateful.

Lastly, I was wondering if a more flexible integration for these types of split KNX objects might be considered for future updates.

Thank you very much for your time and help!
