Modify visualisation by FTP or SSH

Hello,

     Is it possible to modify web visualisation by FTP or SSH in HTML5/CSS/JAVA? and in the same time change user and password.

     If Yes, is possible to have some information about the file structure.

     It's for a guest want to change web page by his server.
