Internet Connection via Proxy for LM5

Hi,
We have a big corporation customer and they have a secure IT system. We connected a LM5 to their system. In our application, we need to get some informations from internet for example exchange 365 informations. But LM5 cannot connect to internet because  we need to enter a proxy and a proxy port. How we can enter a proxy information to LM5 ethernet interface or common script or etc.  ?

Proxy is only supported for HTTP requests, but it cannot be set globally for all scripts. See here for more info: http://w3.impa.br/~diego/software/luasocket/http.html
