Mosaic door status widget visualization
#1
I've added Door Status widget (tested on both mosaic2 and 3) and linked it with Open/Close type object. I'm not getting display logic here – why when object value is Open, widget is displayed as closed door, and vice versa? Should I create a shadow object and store inverted value via script or what's the best approach here? Can widget be fixed, is it by design, or at least "invert" option added as with some other widgets?

Thanks!

The widget was hard coded so when 1 is sent the door are opened and 0 for closed. You can use script to convert it but why don't you just use widget creator and make your own widget? Its much simpler and you can re-use it.

Thanks, for visual consistency i wanted to use built-in widgets mostly, also mosaic2 don't have an option to choose from predefined icon set. Haven't migrated to mosaic3 yet, but i've been able to create test widget with door status. Mostly was wondering why decision was made to not use object value coding
