Dynamic LP page embedded in Standard interface

Greeting.

I have been implementing some .lp pages for some dynamic script feedback. 

The issue I have is these pages still work when the user is not logged into the main (built in interface) so un-Athenticated users can still get some limited access to the system, is it possble for the Lua script in the .lp page to determine if a user is already authenticated to the platform, or do I need to work out some form of authentication separately to the main built in visualisation?

You probably have disabled password protection for the user directory in User access settings.
