Try increasing Maximum telegrams in queue (KNX Settings) and see if this change anything.

I changed to 500 and restarted but the LM still sends the MemoryExtended_Write (S=8) after and then the Zennio device disconnects.

We think it is related that very old HW like your LM3 did use Siemens TP-uart and long frames might not work at all for it.
Try enabling Use slow bus communication in ETS.

Yes, we encountered the same problem one time with a zennio device and that worked. We asked to the Zennio staff and they were so kind and pretty fast to respond.
