After less than a day, I lose all 1-Wire sensors as well as my USB interface module. The data line already has a 220 ohm resistor, and I have also added a 4.7 kΩ pull-up resistor, but this does not solve the issue.
I suspect that the 1-Wire service on my Logicmachine stops working, which causes the system to no longer detect any devices on the bus.
I have also looked into creating a script to restart the service every two hours, but I have not been able to get that working properly yet.
The USB interface is: DS9490R
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue?
You can see from the timestamps that the USB device has not actually disconnected.
The USB disconnect that we are currently seeing was manually triggered by me to check whether that would resolve the issue.
I am powering the sensors using 3-wire mode (VCC, GND, and data), not parasitic power.
The total length of the 1-Wire line is approximately 40 meters.
I have not yet added capacitors near each sensor
I forgot to mention that after a reboot, all sensors and the USB come back online and are detected normally again.
This is also the reason why I currently suspect it might be related to the 1-Wire service on the LogicMachine.
Is there a way to restart the 1-Wire service without performing a full reboot?
The recommended maximum bus length is 30 meters. For testing purposes add a capacitor to one sensor and disconnect all others. See if the operation becomes stable.
