database modification

hello , i want to modify the database file in my backup (using DB browser SQLite) so i can attach all group addresses without going on each button. so when i generate the restore file .tar.gz it does not accept the file. 
am wondering what am doing wrong ( i modify the "current.db" file) 
or if there is any way to do faster on group addresses affectation.

There's also current.md5 file which has md5 checksum of current.db. Database won't be restored if checksum does not match.
