Touch (Wiser/SL) - User made widgets?

Is there any documentation at all of how to make your own widgets for the touch interface? Although the widgets currently available are good we require some specialisation on different topics. 

There is a upload button in Touch Config interface, so I’m guessing the possibility is built in?
