Google home is currently supported only by using IFTTT.

We tested it and it works perfect, however Alexa was slightly faster.

Hi Erwin, but if we said ' Hey google, lights off ' with IFTTT we can receive a string with the text ' lights off ' or only set a bit if the text match the simple phrase on IFTTT...?

I know, but the proble is I do not know to do a remote command via maker channel.
I´ve signed up into maker channel, but I do not where to write such commands.

Please I would need a user guide step by step in order to control my knx home, by voice commands, through google home mini.

I someone is so kind to give me such user guide or instruction for beginners I would apreciate it so much.

kind regards

Hi,

As far as i know there is no step by step manual for beginners, that’s why this forum exists (:

For remote services you can use this documentation: http://openrb.com/docs/remote-new.htm

Make sure that you have enabled remote services under the system settings and that you have forwarded the controller in your router otherwise IFTTT is not able to reach it.

Erwin

You have to open port 80 or 443 on your router depend of which one you will use http or https.

Hello Daniel,
Thank you very much for your answer.
I thought maybe it was the speaker ports, because I already had them open but it is a bit strange what happens.
In IFTTT in url: with the local ip does not work. on the other hand if I put the public ip of my installation works perfectly and without having to put code in the group address.
but of course, I can not do it because the public ip changes often.
So, What can be happening?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.
Jose.

Hi
You can create ddns and use it instead of IP. I use no-ip.com It is free.
