Hi.

How can i activate an input as analog?

right now you can't. this firmware does not support this. in future there will be another firmware with anolog input function. you will need to download it via USB.

Oh. That's a shame. I was really looking forward to test it with analog inputs. I just have to wait then.

please describe what exactly do you need
1) only value of voltage
2) some math like y = ax+b
etc.
this will help admin to make the best firmware!

Yes i want to test a couple of things.
1. Using inputs with "End of line resistors". Both NO an NC switches for monitoring and security.
2. Determin which of several switches has closed when each switch has a unique resisor value in series.

Hi.

I hope there will be possibilities to connect temperature probes to the inputs. I prefere NTC, but PT100 or PT1000 will do fine Smile

Hi Kai,
we have made another device for resistive sensor inputs. For current UIO8 this isn't possible because our inputs are non-potential. In case of PT1000 we need to have internal pull-up resistor (with very good precision, no more than 0.1%) and voltage source for pull-up. That's why we made separate device for this functionality.

By the way, why NTC is preferable and not PT1000?

Hi.

I understand. I'm just a little pampered with some of the products i normally use :)
NTC is just becouse we use have a lot of these since we use them on different KNX products.

Here is an example of a product i see as compact and extremely versatile (excuse my Paint layout). It fits in resident installations like a glove.
If it was possible to make somthing like this with CanX and LoRa antenna, then the word would not need any other products! With a Clip for mounting on DIN rail, one product would be enough in all cases. Almost  ;)
