I am unable to perform the firmware upgrade, not sure what is wrong with my LM4 running i.MX28 CPU, looks that the logs are indicating some filesystem errors:

I have also enclosed some images with what I see after trying to upgrade the firmware on my LM4. Basically, the FW version has remained the same as before doing the upgrade.

Does anyone knows why my LM4 does not accepts the new firmware and stays stuck on the older firmware?

Your card is in read only mode and needs replacement

Thank you, Daniel! Do you know if this is documented somewhere on the forum or in the LM4 instructions/user manual? Can I use any SD/microSD card?

https://openrb.com/reflash-logicmachine3...-software/

Any up to 32GB, a SLC or eMLS card is recommended.

Hello everyone,

I have noticed that when importing an ESF file where the datatype is unknown (Dali RGBW 251.600) in my case then the GA is not imported. The problem probably comes from the ETS export to ESF (in ETS this object has the correct datatype assigned and linked to the dali GW) but I am mentioning this in case is related with a bug from the latest firmware. LM5lite FW 20200720.
It's my 1st time to see this so maybe its how LM imports the ESF anyway.

This post can be removed by admin if needed!

You should use KNX project import instead of ESF file

Thank you admin for the quick reply.

Since its a new function I haven't used it yet but will give it a try on my next project. Nice to know!

My customer has an LM5lp. Yesterday he downloaded the software upgrade package on your company's website. The version is 20170620. Now he wants to upgrade to the 2020 version. But after entering System config, there is no response after clicking to upgrade firmware, nor after refreshing or restarting. How can I solve this problem?

Might be a micro SD card issue. Get a new industrial or high endurance micro SD (at least 1GB). Make a backup from LM. Then follow this guide on how to flash recovery firmware: https://openrb.com/reflash-logicmachine3...-software/
#51
Before doing anything with the SD card, try clearing browser cache as i have seen this before after a FW upgrade..

Ťhanks,I'll try it.

Hi,

I worked with LM5. Exported some groups from ETS, and than added many manually. Now group adding not so convenient, is possible delete them or use filter. May be developers can include in next release possibility of adding empty groups automatically - as example from 1/1/10 add 10 groups, and show for them data type - as example boolean? After that just name should be added - faster configuration..

Also working with scheduler - may be possible to add to scheduler such option as "period"? A little complicated, but idea - as example it can be started at 9:00 for 2 hours. Status can be always active or not active during these 2 hours.. depending of settings. Will be easier work as example with light control.

I have an old LM2, labeled LM2 interface 2. The displayed firmware version is 20141127.

I tried to download the new LM2 firware from the top of this thread, but when i try to install with the function "Systemconfiguration, System, Upgrade firmware", the upgrade prosess seems to start, but the version remains the same after rebooting.

When trying to use the function "Utilities, Install updates", i got the message "Update package file is invalid".

I have also made a factory reset.

In case my LM2 unit is not supported anymore, is there any newer firmvare available?

This is LM version is not supported anymore. The latest firmware for it is 20181002: https://dl.openrb.com/lm-18-at91/20181002.img

Hi, after updating the firmware, the information from the modbus table has stopped updating. The test and polling show that the RS-485 interface is working, but there is no connection between the KNX objects and the modbus. I ask for help)
#59
Do you have anything in the standard Error log and Modbus Error log?

Hi

I've noticed strange behavior of "Page" counter in "Objects" tab. See the video at this link (google drive) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QlHWnO7...p=drivesdk

and watch Page area.
LM5Lp, firmware: 2018.08.22 and 2021.12.15, FlashSYS v2, ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l), kernel 4.4.151 and 4.4.259
