CANx 0-10V
#1
Dears, i use the CANx 0-10V to steer the fans of FCU's but the transition time is relatively short as max setting for fan speed control. For lights it is OK.

Is there a way to increase the transition time and to have a feedback on the actual output every second?

How long should the transition time be for your use case?

i normally use between 30 and 60 seconds. It depends on the size of the fans. But in AHU (up to 10.000m3/h) i use transition time of 60 seconds because of the mass of the rotor. Going too fast puts a lot torque on all the components :-)

I understand where the 10 seconds come from as the module is intended to be used with lights and dimming and not for fan speed control.

We will add additional transition options for 15, 20, 30 and 60 seconds and we will look into adding status updates every second.

Tnx! Another option could be to just be able to full in the transmission time in seconds instead of a selection.

What is the hardware model of your CANx device? It's written on the side label. The requested feature have been added, now we need to know which firmware to provide to you for testing Smile

I uploaded the FW and changed the profile but max is still 10 seconds it shows device mismatch as the PRofile is not for the LORA type.

Hi admin,
I use the CAN-AO8 set to increase or decrease the brightness of the 0-10V LED driver. I have the following problem, on the CANX app, when I turn on/off and increase or decrease the brightness, there is a response on the app, but the light device does not respond at all.
Please guide me to fix this problem.

Use a multi-meter to check the voltage output on the CANx device. Check if there is any change in voltage when your LED driver is not connected.
