Retain memory Virtual objects

Does the virtual objects have retain memory by default, or do I need to use storage.get and storage.set?

They behave the same as normal objects. The only difference is that they cannot be used in KNX/TP and KNX/IP.

Thank you, that means that I do not need to store values in memory? I'm using them as setpoints to be controlled from bacnet.

No, values are stored in the database the same way as normal objects.
