Is there a way to use the reactor as a switch?

I have a ventilation solution in my house with very limited control options. However it has extarnal connector to which it is possible to short circuit and then start forced ventilation

I want the reactor to close that connection. Is it possible to use with one of the analog or digital output/inputs or do I need a relay of some sort?

You need a relay for this. Just make sure that it has 24V coil voltage.
