Modbus TCP/IP: value send behaviour
#1
Hi there,
I use a LM as master modbus via TCP/IP.

When the slave (ONLY THE SLAVE) goes off, what happen when power goes back?

Does the LM send its value to the slave again?

Thank you for your help.

Try to create a script with the object connection status

The values are not sent again automatically. Using an event script mapped to the device status object might work but only if the objects are write-only. Otherwise the current Modbus register values will overwrite previous values before the script runs.
