Logic Machine Interface and Network Problem
#1
Hi,
One of the our project includes 2 building with 2 different network system. We have 1 Logic Machine in first building. We have user computer in first and second building. In first building, we have no problem to communicate with Logic machine. But in the second building, we cannot reach to logic Machine via user computer.
We oriented IT manager for port and ip routing. He said they managed the routers to communicate related IP's. Also they opened 80 port . But we cannot communicate. For just testing purpose, IT manager deleted all the filter in the router and we managed to communicate with Logic Machine. But after that, IT manager restored all the filters in the router for security reason.
IT manager told us, there should be more port which has to be open more than 80 port.
If you can help us about how we can orient this IT manager for port management to reach LM interface.

For the Web UI access you need either TCP port 80 (HTTP) or 443 (HTTPS). If the second building is on another sub-network then LM must have a valid gateway set.
But if you say that it works without firewall then the problem is in the router not in LM as there are no filtering rules for HTTP whatsoever.
